Job Title:
Materials Engineer/Analyst

Location:
Odenton, Maryland

Qualifications:
• Associates Degree with 8 years of experience or Bachelors Degree with 2 years Degree in Metallurgy Engineering or Material Science

Experience:
•  Experience in the area of Metallurgy Engineering. 
•  Experience in testing of metals and alloys, observing and analyzing production process of client production unit, developing database for the analysis of the material data and develop tools for reporting. 
•  Knowledge in basic computer operation, document requirements, spread sheet processing, AutoCAD. Require good communications and presentation skills.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
• Gather and document requirements from Client for the product and work as liaison between client and production team, and provide specifics.
• Coordinate testing for the sample materials in order to determine the necessary structural modifications to the existing material that is being used to produce final products and then test final product to analyze its structural and physical properties.
• Communicate with the client organization to determine the needs of the organization, and the specifications for the client organization's applicable Metal or Material. 
• Suggest the new process or material or the modifications to the existing process or material to produce desired product and work with metals productions methods by observing it on the client organization site. 
• Suggest raw material to the client organization to achieve desired properties in final product.
• Observe the whole process once implemented, and oversee its complete implementation. 
• Subsequently provide technical services to clients relating to physical and structural properties of metals or alloy by testing of material, process by observing it on site of the client.
• Responsible for organizing Business meeting, providing product presentation and details of the product quality and work in progress.
• Responsible for analyzing, identifying and interpreting of various production procedures and processes in order to meet codes and quality control programs.
• Established and maintained good administrative and public relations procedures through proper documentation. 
• Involved in auditing data for accuracy and preparing summary reports, spreadsheets, graphics and charts based on the analysis of data, communicating with clients, and other miscellaneous duties
